This Privacy Policy explains how Capelago SASU (“Capelago”, “we”, “us” or “our”) processes information when you use the Sleev mobile application and related services (“Sleev” or the “Service”).
Capelago SASU is a French simplified joint-stock company registered with the Toulouse Trade and Companies Register under SIREN 943 643 395.
Privacy contact: contact@trysleev.com
1. Scope
Sleev lets users create a digital avatar, digitize garments, organize a digital wardrobe, combine garments, and save outfit images.
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the Sleev mobile application, its supporting infrastructure, and related support services.
2. Information we process
2.1 Account information
Sleev requires an account. Accounts are created using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In.
Depending on the sign-in method and the information made available by the authentication provider, we may process:
- your email address;
- your name;
- an Apple or Google authentication identifier;
- an internal Sleev account identifier; and
- authentication and account-status information.
Authentication is managed using Supabase.
2.2 Profile and avatar information
During onboarding or while using Sleev, you may provide:
- your name;
- age;
- gender;
- height;
- weight; and
- preferences or corrections entered in the app.
Except for the information clearly marked as required in the app, these profile details may be optional. They are used to create, adapt, or describe your avatar and improve the relevance of the Service. They are not used to make medical, employment, credit, insurance, or other similarly significant decisions.
2.3 Photos and other uploaded content
Sleev may access the camera or photo library only after you grant the relevant device permission.
You may upload or capture:
- face or full-body photographs used to create an avatar;
- garment photographs;
- screenshots or product images;
- photographs containing other people;
- reference images used for garment or avatar processing; and
- other images submitted for a supported Sleev feature.
Uploaded source images may be retained in your private Sleev account so that garments or avatars can be processed again without requiring another upload.
2.4 Generated and saved content
We process and store content created through Sleev, including:
- generated avatars;
- digitized garments;
- garment masks, crops, classifications, and related processing data;
- saved outfits and outfit images;
- generation status and error information; and
- user corrections or reports relating to generated results.
2.5 Usage limits and access information
At launch, Sleev may provide limited free usage and access through promotional codes. We may process:
- promotional-code redemption status;
- generation or digitalization usage counts;
- feature-access status; and
- technical information required to enforce usage limits.
If paid features are introduced later, this Policy will be updated where necessary before those features are made available.
2.6 Analytics and technical information
We use limited product analytics to understand whether Sleev functions correctly and which features are useful.
Analytics may include:
- a randomly generated analytics identifier that is not linked to your Sleev account;
- app version and build;
- operating system and device characteristics;
- approximate country;
- screens or features used;
- interaction events selected by Capelago;
- session timing and frequency; and
- technical performance or error information included in the event.
Our launch configuration does not use session replay, screen recording, automatic interaction capture, advertising identifiers, or precise location. We do not send your Supabase account ID, email address, name, age, gender, height, weight, uploaded images, or generated images to PostHog.
Infrastructure providers may separately process network and security logs, which can include IP addresses, request metadata, timestamps, user identifiers, and error details.
2.7 Push notifications
If you enable notifications, we may process a push-notification token and notification-delivery information through Expo and the platform notification services operated by Apple or Google.
Notifications may be used to tell you that an avatar, garment, or other requested processing operation has finished, or to provide other service-related information. You can disable notifications through your device settings.
2.8 Support communications
If you contact us, we process the information contained in your message, your contact details, and any files or technical information you choose to provide.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- create and authenticate Sleev accounts;
- provide and maintain the digital wardrobe and avatar features;
- generate avatars, digitized garments, and outfit images;
- store and synchronize your content;
- apply your corrections and preferences;
- manage free access, promotional codes, and usage limits;
- send requested service notifications;
- prevent misuse, secure the Service, and investigate technical problems;
- measure performance and understand product usage;
- respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests;
- enforce our Terms of Service; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. Sleev does not contain advertising and does not track users across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising purposes.
4. AI processing and explicit permission
Sleev uses third-party artificial-intelligence services to create avatars, isolate and digitize garments, and generate related visual outputs.
Depending on the requested operation, the information sent for processing may include:
- an original uploaded image;
- a cropped face, body, or garment image;
- generated or intermediate images;
- reference or guideline images;
- technical parameters; and
- text instructions describing the requested transformation.
Requests are transmitted through Capelago’s backend rather than directly from the mobile application.
Before Sleev first transmits personal images to a third-party AI service, the app asks for explicit permission and provides information about this processing. You may decline, but the affected generation feature cannot operate without sending the required content.
Capelago does not use your photos or generated content to train its own AI models. Third-party AI providers process requests under their own service terms, retention practices, and technical controls. Where available, Capelago uses settings intended to limit access, retention, and secondary use.
At launch, Sleev uses Kie.ai, which may route requests to underlying model providers selected for the relevant feature. Kie.ai currently states that generated media is retained for 14 days and task logs or metadata for two months before automatic deletion. Temporary copies held by an underlying model provider may be subject to that provider’s technical and contractual retention rules.
AI providers and models may change as Sleev is improved. We will update this Policy when a change materially affects how personal information is processed.
5. Service providers and recipients
We disclose information only as needed to operate Sleev, including to the following categories of providers:
- Supabase: account authentication, database, and private file storage;
- Render: backend application hosting and operational logs;
- Modal: computational infrastructure and image-processing workloads;
- Kie.ai and underlying model providers: AI image processing and generation;
- PostHog: product analytics using an analytics identifier not linked to the Sleev account;
- Expo, Apple, and Google: push-notification delivery;
- Apple and Google: social authentication and app-distribution services;
- Cloudflare and email providers: email routing and communication; and
- professional advisers, authorities, or other recipients where disclosure is legally required.
These providers may process information only to provide their respective services, subject to their agreements, technical settings, and applicable law.
We may also disclose information if reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse or security incidents, enforce our Terms, or comply with a valid legal request.
6. International processing
Sleev’s primary Supabase database and storage are hosted in Ireland.
Some providers, including analytics, hosting, infrastructure, and AI providers, may process information in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. Privacy and data-protection standards may differ between countries.
Where required, Capelago relies on contractual and other appropriate safeguards made available by its providers for international transfers.
7. Retention
We retain account information, profile information, uploaded source images, avatars, garments, and outfits while your Sleev account remains active, unless you delete an individual item earlier.
When you delete a garment or outfit, Sleev deletes the corresponding active database records, source files, and generated files controlled by Capelago.
When you delete your account, Sleev immediately deletes the active account, authentication record, database records, uploaded files, generated avatars, garments, and outfit files controlled by Capelago.
Some information may remain temporarily:
- in infrastructure logs for the provider’s operational retention period;
- in database backups, if backups are enabled, until those backups expire;
- with third-party AI providers until temporary media, task records, or metadata expire under their retention schedules; or
- where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
Temporary provider copies are not used to keep your Sleev account active and are removed or expire according to the relevant provider’s process.
Anonymous product-analytics events are retained for product analysis. Because they are not linked to the Sleev account, deleting the account does not identify or remove those anonymous historical events.
Support messages may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, maintain a record of the resolution, and protect the Service.
8. Account and data deletion
You can delete your account inside the app:
Account → Settings → Delete account → Confirm
Deletion is immediate after confirmation and is not a soft deletion.
You can also request account deletion without access to the app through:
https://trysleev.com/delete-account
The external page allows you to submit a deletion request using the email address associated with your Sleev account. We may ask you to verify control of that address before processing the request.
For questions or deletion requests, you may also contact contact@trysleev.com.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to:
- request access to information held about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request deletion;
- object to or request restriction of certain processing;
- receive certain information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- submit a complaint to a competent data-protection authority.
You can edit supported profile details inside Sleev and delete your account using the in-app deletion flow.
To exercise another privacy right, contact contact@trysleev.com. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify that the request relates to your account.
You can withdraw camera, photo-library, or notification permissions through your device settings. Withdrawing a permission may prevent the corresponding feature from working.
10. Images containing other people
You must have the rights and permissions necessary to upload an image to Sleev.
Where an image contains another identifiable person, you should have that person’s permission or another valid basis to upload and process the image. Sleev may use such an image to identify and crop a garment, but it does not permit users to create an avatar from another person’s face or body without that person’s permission.
Please do not upload intimate, nude, sexually explicit, exploitative, illegal, or otherwise harmful images, particularly images involving minors.
11. Children
Sleev is intended for users aged 13 or older and is not directed to children under 13.
Users who are under the age of majority where they live should use Sleev only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we may suspend or delete the account and its associated information. A parent or guardian who believes that a child under 13 has provided information to Sleev may contact contact@trysleev.com.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including:
- encrypted transmission using HTTPS/TLS;
- authentication and access controls;
- non-public storage buckets for user files;
- server-side transmission of AI requests;
- restricted access to production systems; and
- limitation of analytics data and identifiers.
Only the operator of Capelago and service providers acting to deliver their services have authorized access to production information.
No technical system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Sleev’s features, providers, or data practices change.
The current version will be published on this page with an updated date. If a change materially affects how we use information or a permission previously provided, we may provide an additional notice in the app.
